About Hamlin Middle School
Hamlin Middle School is located in the heart of our Springfield community. When entering Springfield, you can't miss the beautiful structure that our community gifted us through a bond measure in 2016. The state of the art facility allows us the ability to offer rich programming to all of our students.
Hamlin students begin their day with an advisory period where teachers focus on connecting with every student and supporting our positive behavioral systems. Students then have the following CORE academic courses:
- Language Arts
- Social Studies
- Math
- Science
Students at HMS also participate in two Related Arts (elective) courses. Our students have access to the following Related Arts (elective) programs:
- Physical Education and Health
- STEM
- Art
- Band
- Orchestra
- Choir
Hamlin Middle School is home to our District Dual Immersion program, where enrolled students participate in core instruction in both English and Spanish.
