Springfield Public Schools (SPS) hosted the first-ever Middle School Latinx Student Union Summit on May 8. Nearly 100 students from Hamlin, Agnes Stewart, Briggs, and Thurston Middle Schools were in attendance.

The Springfield High School (SHS) Automotive Technology Program was awarded a $7,500 grant for an outreach project to help veterans fix their vehicles or receive a donated car.

Four SPS teachers were selected as recipients of the 2024 Selco Creative Educator Grants, which help teachers fund their creative class projects and help support finding innovative ways to teach students in our district.

SEF raised an astounding $200,000 during its annual Night of 11,000 Stars Gala, which also celebrated 30 years of supporting Springfield students and educators.
